Cinco de Mouse-O and Testing

What a week!  I am seriously worn out!  I know you all are, too.  We are have some serious summer fever!!!

I picked up this adorable book when I worked the Scholastic Warehouse Sale once, and fell in love with it. It is too cute!

The holiday this year falls on a Friday, so I thought it would be fun to celebrate that day and would be a great excuse to eat some Mexican favorite!  I made a mini literacy unit to use that day.  I am having trouble getting it to upload on TPT tonight.   I will try again tomorrow and let you know when it's posted.  I just thought I would let you know about the book in case you wanted to order it in time for the holiday.

We take the Stanford next week.  My walls look so drab!  I hate this time of the year.

We have to cover up or take down everything.  I always pick up those plastic tablecloths at the Dollar Tree to use.  I put my signs from my Rockin' Out the Test packet over them.  They seemed to help.

Here is how our rockstars turned out:

They were so excited to make these!  They really thought they were rockstars!

We have also been working on synonyms and antonyms this week.  I totally took these ideas from Cara.  {I am not sure how I functioned before or what I even did before I discovered her blog!} Above are our chef hats.  She has a great tutorial.

They had these while they worked. ;)

I am off to bed!  Have a fabulous Friday!

  3. I just got the rockin out the test packet and LOVE it! I looked on Kevin and Amanda for the colorful font you used on the cover page but couldn't find it. Can you share the name with me so I can use it to make some bulleting board letters for next year?

  4. I think the font is Budmo Jiggler. I love that font!

  5. Where did you get the amazing rockstar graphics?
